Best pulled pork sandwhich I ever had. Meat had the perfect amount of smoke. The hot sauce was amazing. It was mixed in with the meat, each shred was perfectly covered. Great pork sandwhich!
Super fantastic food and the people and service make u feel like u had just gotten back to ur home where ur parents still live. They make u feel warm and welcomed. I would recommend 100% if u like and want good old fashioned food with a warm inviting atmosphere. Ms Mary's is the place for u. Actually can't wait till I can get back to Nashville so I can swing by and grub out!! Excellent food and service. I just can't say enough good about the whole experience!! Fantastic!!

I been all thru the southern states trying authentic bbq , this is the best place and most authentic bbq I ever had ! Staff is super friendly , incredibly authentic ! I can't say enough . Food was unreal ! I rarely give 5 stars but this was a no Brainer!
Mary's Bar B Q has been one of the best places to get a shoulder sandwich from. I hear that they are now closing for good and this saddens me because this place has serviced Nashville for many years and I hate to see them close. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mary's Old Fashion Bar-B-Que Pit, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I ordered, I was greeted by "The Fun Crew" that provided service that rivaled Chick-fil-A. Nonetheless the real star of the show was undoubtedly the fish sandwich. It was hands down the most flavorful sandwich I have had in Nashville, and it came with all the fixings - pickles, onions, hot sauce, and mustard - that added just the right amount of zing to the dish. Overall, my visit to Mary's Old Fashion Bar-B-Que Pit was a five-star experience, and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for delicious food, and excellent service. It's clear that the team at Mary's puts a lot of love and care into their food, and it definitely shows in every bite.
It a really great place to eat bbq,..plus other great things to eat.....they have been around for awhile,, do more advertising for the place. UPDATE 2025 JUNE,THEY ARE CLOSED PERMANENTLY
